Student resuscitated a person


The amazing success story of 16-year-old Gabija, who learned basic resuscitation skills at school and resuscitated a drowning man this summer.

We have been teaching resuscitation to teachers and children at LSMU Gymnasium every year since 2013, making it a unique high school in Lithuania, but not in the world.
In most US states and some European countries, it is compulsory for children to be taught not only mathematics but also basic resuscitation from the 7th grade onwards in schools. This is how a new generation grows up knowing and wanting to help others in case of an emergency.
